Gilbert

King Gilbert is a first cousin to Elinore of Sterling, and rules over the neighboring country of Adonia. As a widower he raises his only son, Prince Harry, to be the next ruler of Adonia. A generous king, his annual tradition is to gift food to his people at Christmas time, even when economic hardship threatens the stability of the island continent of Browning.
